Way to sort thread oldest-first?

This is the only forim I am on that has messages stacked newest on the top. I feel like I am reading backwards. is there a way for a reader to switch the view to oldest first? Would make following the progression from initial post easier.

thnx

When you select a thread from the discussion window you can click on the little arrow next to "Last Post" and it will shuffle the first thread to the top.

Ummm... that does not do what I am asking.

That key only appears on the page that lists all the discussions. When clicked, it puts the oldest discussion first - which may be from years ago.

It is not the list of discussions I wish to sort, for there, the newest should be at the top. It is within a discussion thread itself that I wish to sort. So that the thread reads in order from first post to last. Possible?

In a thread I see a similar button on the far left, below "Post Reply", but clicking it does not switch the sort. It simply takes me to the last posted message - which happens to be right there anyway.

Just tried again and even when I sort the list of topics oldest first the actual threads are newest first internally.

Trekka,

Try this.

Click the User CP (Control Panel) button on the upper left of your screen.
Click Edit-Options
Scroll down to display mode and select - Linear - oldest first
Do not forget to scroll down and save changes

That should turn your world rightside up.

(You may need to refresh your browser - F5 with IE)
