If you use firefox or chrome, get AdBlock Plus addon. I never saw them until I had it turned off by accident one day. I don't blame you. But with ABP, I don't see any advertisements (Works for TONS Of ads including Google search ads, facebook ads, etc).

Try it!

Please, keep the ads. The site must pay its expenses, and if the owners make a bit, so much the better, it will encourage them to make the site better yet.

There are a lot of sailing forums out there, but IMHO, this one provides the best service to users.

I was thinking the same thing. I have Adblocker as well.

I was always logged in, but most of the posts consisted of two-thirds to three-fourths of google ad links. Fortunately, theose ads seem to be gone now.

My complaint is that I get distracted from keeping the fire stoked and my toes get cold.

When I view the post, the ads aren't there.
If I poat a reply the ads aren't there
If I edit the post or delete the post the ads appear.
When I select the next page the ads appear.

Something for the programmer to check.
