In the future, you could help us identify WHERE the spamming is occuring. Just include a link with your post when you express your outrage. That person's account now resides with the 245+ ones that didn't get through to post (last two months).

Thomas, Didn't think my post reflected outrage but sometimes I guess it is in the eye of the beholder. Next time I "mention" spamming I will be sure and include the link. Thanks.

To All,

I might add that it would be better to note which Mod. is on line (in the box at the left, "users online" while on the home page) and then just send a Personal Message (PM) to that Mod with the onfo. The Mod's names are in bold letters.............................._/)

Thank you!

You know, maybe we should assign more mods? I'd think most anyone with a bunch of posts would have more n' enough reason to spam hunt now and again.

Spam - then and now

Reminds me of the "good-ole-days" when spam was young: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ards-1000.html

That was the day this calm and serene forum woke up to a new reality (progress, they call it). Already 2 1/2 years ago - myohmy how time flies...

ONE single intruder, easily removed. Then many moons before an "ad" for sigarettes appeared, promptly removed. Gee, mods led easy lives those days...

Yer first "moderator-mama" is now busy maintaining the seaplane forum at a local aviation board. Still try to drop by here occasionally to enjoy the wisdom of the old salts. Place got a bit more noisy lately, but whattheheck so does everything else in "civilization"...

Thanks to Gisle and Gord for birthday greetings the other day!
Will try to drop ya a line one of these days.

Amphibian, it is really good to see you here. I have wondered where you have been hiding. It's been awhile.
