Who are they and why are they emailing me? I got some random email with a ticket number and password to log in. It is somehow related to this forum.

Social Knowledge is the "parent" of Cruisers Forum. As well as several other forums.

Can you tell me why they are contacting me? Their email says:

Your ticket has been received, one of the staff members will review it and reply accordingly. Listed below are details of this ticket, Please make sure the Ticket ID remains in the subject at all times.

It appears you responded to a notification email that was sent to you letting you know that a reply had been made to a thread you are subscribed to. The email address to which you replied is support [at] cruisersforum.com which are pulled into our help desk system. Thus it sent you a notice with a ticket number to let you know your email was accounted for in our systems.

In the future you need to click on the link in the email and reply through the website. You cannot reply to threads via email.

I will close the ticket in the help desk now. If you have any other questions, feel free to post here, send me a private message or respond to the help desk ticket email.

Is there a reason I'm seeing the Google ads when I'm logged in Frank? I recall that at one time, Andy had set it up so registered members were not seeing the ads. Recently I noticed I'm seeing them all of the time.
