searching threads

when I search the threads for a specific key word, it will show me the thread, but not the specific message. Often there are hundreds of messages in the thread. Is there an easier way of finding the specific message? Sorry if this is an easy one... I'll admit I'm anything but a guru on web postings.

The words that you enter in the search box will show up RED in the posts.
