Saving PMs

I know this question has been asked so maybe this thread should be about how I seem unable to do a proper search. Anyways, I did search for this and came up blank..
The question is how do I save a pm? My mail box fills to capacity every day or two and I end up erasing them to make room for the incoming. BUT I would like to save a few ( I may take up blackmail). Is there a button to save em here in my private messaging?
Thanks, your techno challenged friend,
Erika

Erika,

If you go to User CP/List Messages, then look all the way down at the bottom of the page on the right, you'll see

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

That will allow you to save all your messages, then you can sort, search and delete messages based on the functionality of the software related to the type of file you chose to save the messages. In other words, if you save them as Text, you can open the file in MS Word to search and edit.

Popular girl!

My inbox only fills from Mods telling me they've pulled another of my posts!

As I adore all the Mods and don't want to delete them, is there a chance a getting a bigger Inbox?

Yep. Only disadvantage is if you use multiple computers, say, one at home and one on the boat. You either have to choose which one to save them on or have them split.

But then, you could e-mail them to yourself...

Well let me explain my need to save pms
I get pms asking for advice about what is available in my area, we have a lot of boats here and is a good market to find a bargain. So I offer to keep an eye out for for something that might fit their needs/wants. Some are looking for 30 footers some 40s and some cats. I also hear of people wanting to unload a boat for cheap and would love to be able to quickly put the word out, but not so publicly as the forum. Since I love to dock walk and love to look at boats it is a win win.
Having a file that separates the size of vessel someone is looking for would help. But so far I have to erase and go by memory.
Plus, most of you know I am a single sailor gal and I do get a few pms about that. It be nice to have a sep file for all my sailor men (Just kidding!!!) but not really.
So any ideas of the best way a computer illiterate can organize her pms?
Cheers,
Erika

Ocean Girl, check this out. Looks like it might suit your needs.

Thanks, Janet. I figured something like that probably existed, but since I've always had my own website, I've just always stored things there. Just never looked for anything else.
