remove site ads?

Just upgraded my membership. I still see ads.

I guess I thought, apparently erroneously, that the upgraded membership removed the ads.

Is there any way to remove the ads?

I don't mind supporting the site, but would be nice if that included ad removal as part of the deal.

Re: remove site ads?

AdBlock and Ghostery on my Mac removes all ads I don't want to see. Makes the whole Internet much more usable.

Re: remove site ads?

The ads are on by default. You should go to your user control panel (User CP at top of screen - http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/usercp.php
Select Edit Options on the left side. Scroll to near the bottom of this screen and find the selection buttons for ads and ads at the top of the screen (two buttons). Deselect. Remember to save your changes at the bottom of the screen. Why not update your avatar while you are on the control panel? Good luck.

Since I had the time, I looked over your public profile. I've never seen an Ohlson 38. What an incredibly beautiful boat! It looks like a great balance of grace, speed, and comfort. The photo's are great, and you have obviously loved this vessel. Congratulations.

Thank you. she is better in person than in pictures! not bad for 48 years old!

have pics of her rebuild and other stuff on mildredrose.com . also in the process of creating ohlson38.com (its up but not a lot of stuff there yet)

Those swedes know how to build a pretty boat!
