I had three or four posts that showed "985". When I posted here I think it went to 986. Now it's at 988?

I see!

The counter shows how many you have posted in total but does not show the number of that individual post.

If you look at all your posts at the end of a day they will all have the same number. Then if you post again they will all go up one more number.

And on the other side. If a post gets deleted the number will go down.
