Phishing & Script errors

To the system administrators,
I tried to reply to the following thread & was warned by McAfee the there was phishing going on here. What is this about? Also, everytime I log on to the home page I get at least 3 "Run Time" errors. Help. I'm not sure what all of this means. Possible Phishing thread is "Greetings from the Chesapeake Bay
Sailingcal21 "

thanks,
Jerry

Sometimes during the day there is activity happening in the system program. You might try again now and/or reboot your computer then try again.

Myself I run three different browsers and come up with a different page layout and sometimes different situations.

The net is getting more and more complicated with each day with so many browsers and programs all trying to communicate on one line that things are bound to get a little confused.

I was able to reply using IE 5.0

If no better on a later time, come on back and we'll try to work it out.........._/)

I'm guessing there's a redirect on the page (which could be in one of the ads) that McAfee is falsing on.

Sadly, you need to place all unkown and open sites (including those that run ads) in an "untrusted" zone and lock that down in your options. No scripting allowed, no Active-X allowed, no Java-anything allowed, all security options enabled. That cuts some glitz--but it's the only way to be safe on the web.
