I had to uninstall the iPad app and then install it again. Before doing that it didn't work at all. Now there are no issues. I thing the upgrade is broken some how. I have the original iPad.

You do get a better overall feel of the site from the internet than from the abbreviated apps. The apps seen to make getting around faster

OK and update, everything seemed fixed, but things started going downhill. When I got stuck and could not scroll, I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now I am back to the original problems. On the bright side, if I access the forum through the internet everything works great and I discovered all kinds of things I never knew about -- like I have 2 points for 'Thanks' don't know what they are for though or what I am suppose to do with the points.

Another glitch, if the developer is listening, is once you visit a thread, and see avatars and pics, on later return, all the images no longer show up. They are see once, only.

Found another glitch. The beauty of an iPad is that it can be held in any direction and it works. But in the new CF app, if you holds helipad upside down many features stop working, I.e. search.
PLEASE post here when the fixed app will be released.

I have an original iPad. I can find no difference between any orientation. Perhaps there is something unique to you iPad.

Re: New iPad app version broken
The non-iPad version (regular PC version) of CruisersForum works fine on my iPad 3 Retina. I am using Chrome for the iPad, not Safari as my browser. I prefer the non-ipad version over the iPad version. I can see everything exactly as I see it on a desktop PC. At 2048 x 1536 resolution it was not necessary to change anything to make the website work on my tablet.

Is the developer out there? The app is still broken for iPad 3. The side of the screen with the home button is dead. The only way to use this app is to constantly flip the screen.... Any eta on a patch?

Re: New iPad app version broken
The last I heard an update had been sent to Apple. Being Apple they have to approve it which they do when they do. They are Apple and they rule the world.

When is this app going to be updated? It shouldn't take this long.
