Most visited threads in CF

I just looked at the thread on Searunner trimarans and was amazed to see the number of folks who have checked it out. Is there a way to easily locate the current total of views of other topics and threads on Cruisers Forum?

The other part that knocks me out is how a relatively small class of vintage multihulls could draw such attention. There must be something going on with the boats, the concept, or the discussions to make it so wildly attractive.

The trimaran thread is six years old. Often times narrow topic threads will pick up off and on so become huge over time. Go to the front page of the forum and open up any group and then you will see the views and posts of the threads. There is no universal listing.

You can also do a search with number of replies as a criteria.

I think it's normal that if there is only a thread or two on a particular subject, then any interest would go to those threads.

Re: Most visited threads in CF

OK - I'm a geek.

If you go to the forums page you can see how many threads and posts there are in each forum. Not surprisingly off-topic and anchoring have a high post to thread ratio.

When you click on a forum and go to forum view you can scroll to the bottom and sort by views or reply count.

The Joke Thread is way up there with almost 4,000 replies and 400k views.

A bit weird that you can't do this across all forums - I didn't take the time to click through each forum...

Thats because the multihullers have a limited ability in finding the New Thread button.... and lots more...

If you want to see a thread take off fast look for a title like: "Hot Single Chic Looking For Adventure ANYWHERE".

Ex-Calif hired her and now she's working in his bilge.

Now Mark...You're not being grammatically correct. It's, "she's working on his bilge".

Got the chrome compression post but still looking for the mirror ball...

With only 5 foot overhead I may have to restrict to vertically challenged crew...

Re: Most visited threads in CF

Sometimes I misread thread titles...thought this one looked interesting as it looked like ' most valid threats on CF'
Guess I need to wear my glasses more often..
