Missing Members

I'm certain that I recently took note of the fact that CF had an almost identical number of registered members, and threads, at just over 13,000. Then yesterday I noted that some 400 members (apparently) went missing, as the number dropped to about 12,600.

I'm unaware that one can remove him/herself from the registry by choice, though that may be possible. Were some of the members culled from the rolls for some reason - inactivity, strike 3, whatever?

Or am I "mis-remembering" as someone famously put it?

As a housekeeping measure, some registrants, who never activated their sign-up have been culled from the membership roster.

Gord, I think after 1000 posts you should be given a virtual life time membership........

at over 8000 you have ascended to the almost legendary 9 lives status...you old cat you!
