Well - you don't entirely but as a supporting member you have some settings in your user CP to see fewer ads. Ads are needed to keep the site online. It costs $$ to keep it going, pay for hosting, software, etc. Supporting members are a good help with this as well and so there is an option for them to see a cleaner page.

Still, you might miss out on deals for members, excellent rum and suntan lotion promotions ....

How do you know which version ya are running? Any reason to upgrade, probably not allowed to see the Member Map anyways right?

Current version is shown the pickbox at the bottom left of the page.

To see the Member Map you need to DOWNgrade from Ver 2 to Ver 1.

Given that it was omitted from Ver 2.0, I'd guess it is an obsolete feature that no longer works regardless of what display version you are using.

Max is 40.

The only problem with changing it is that Google Search references posts by page number, so if you don't use the forum default and the post is not on the first page, the link doesn't point to the page containing the post you are looking for.

Aye mate, somebody smarter than me said to switch versions, go lower left hand corner and selection v 1.0 or v 2.0, then you can pick the number of catamarans amd overhanging palm leaves as well as a Member Map, or not..
