Aloha Anyone,

I tried but just can't get a little pin to come up on the Big Island. I know there are a few of us here in Hawaii. Can anyone help? 19.40N by 154.56W

Kind Regards,

JohnL

I didn't make the voyage on my own bottom ~ I was mere deck cargo aboard Rick's excellent, repeated, and very specific, tutelage.

Did you enter 154.56W as -154.56? I kept ending up in Asia until I remembered that west is minus.

I tried to post using the "center the map" method and had no luck.

Any Cruisers Out There,
Still "no joy" on the map.
I centered the map, I read the instructions. I copied the coordinates but could not find a place to enter them.

JohnL

Any Cruisers Out There using the Member Map.
I tried to do it again. My individual map includes me at my lat and long but it doesn't come up on the big "Member Map." There are no balloons for Hawaii so I guess Hawaii just doesn't work on the Google Member Map.

John and I are having a similar problem and I am on the East Coast between a bunch of other boats showing location. I enter my data, and when I show my info, it has me right where I am supposed to be, but when I go to the main map. It doesn't show me. I have tried rebooting and emptying my cache. Obviously, I am missing something in the instructions.

Can one of the administrators or helpers talk me through this?

Same problem exactly for NZ.
My balloon is on the big map, but not on the main map.
Tried it a few times, but no joy.

Same here, US Gulf Coast MS.
Maybe Katrina is the blame, the bitch did not leave us much.
Or maybe they have not figure out the FEMA elevation levels so we can rebuild the balloon

I'm posting here again mostly to keep the thread active in case a site helper or administrator or other knowledgeable person will see it and offer assistance. If there are this many of us having a problem, maybe it's more than just pilot error.

True, I posted my location and it's a part of my profile, but doesn't show on the map (posted several hours ago).

Aloha All,
The member map does not work unless you just want to know where you are. If you enter all your information the map shows you where you are which you already knew. It doesn't show your position on the overall members world map. It's hosed.

JohnL
