I've had a couple of posts pulled and was PMed by Hud and felt he bent over backwards to be nice and explain the ere of my ways. I know I am only a guest here so I play by the rules or I don't get to play. As Gord said "This is not a democracy" I see it as a small slice of globalism run by benevolent dictators. This forum is about as close to an Eloi society as I care to get. I have a great time here and have learned lots and have delt personally with a few great members. It may not suit my John Wayne shoot from the hip style, but I searched out this forum the forum didn't search out me. So I don't take it personally when I get a post pulled, I just realze where I'm at and try to act accordingly.

PS I think you're all nuts

I am happy to be a hug giving and receiving nut case - if that's the definition of a cruiser I love it!

I first saw a real person doing this on a beach in Brazil. I had no idea it was part of a movement. I just thought the guy was brilliant because all these beautiful Brazilian women in tiny bikinis were getting up and going over to give him a hug. I wish I had taken a photo, we thought it was just some random guy...

Maybe we need to post some photos of Cruisers giving out the hugs!

Well, I was once in a bar and someone bet me I wouldn't wear a Bikini.

Don't recall getting a lot of hugs though

I've used the Free Hugs video to diffuse nasty arguments, on other sailing forums, but embedded it within the Chinese symbol for kindness, and it does work.

As a new member I am pleased that there is proper conduct policy in place.
From what I have read in the last twenty four hours it is a site that is full of cruisers with "community" in mind attempting to assist others.

Opinions are personal and should be kept in a very considerate fashion.

IF one wants to elaborate on world view subjects I would suggest that person choose to use private messages or find another site.

Thanks already for all the assistance i have recieved.
