Media player keeps playing "blank" media file

Hi Cruisers,

When visiting the CF site from a number of computers, I have started spotting my Windows media player playing a media piece titled simply "blank". I thought it might be a virus at first, but it happening on three separate computers, all of which appear clean.

Is this some kind of failing advertisement on the site or something else. I don't see it when I don't have the CF site open.

I would try scrolling all the way to the bottom of CF, switch to Cruiser's Forum v1.0 and see if it repeats.

If it doesn't then switch back and see if it reoccurs. I know it's 3 different PCs and Browser's but it's weird.

I suspect something is going on in the background as users (including me) are reporting that randomly pictures posted get rotated 90 degrees which has never happened to me in the past.

ditto for me. CF is becoming unusable.
Interesting that you as a paid member are experiencing this, I thought it may be only for us unpaid, freeloading scumbags.

Maybe it is only for Aussie scumbags?

OK, I'll see what happens now. (As to the rotated pictures, I think I have seen a few of those, but none of mine have done that.)

Hi Lee!

I think there are some very slow advert servers somewhere in the system slowing things down for us. If they are US hosted and suffering a bit of latency things can snowball by the time we've connected over our two tin cans a bit of string.
