just an observation

This is not meant to be criticism. I like this forum. It has a lot of good people who don't spend all their time debating politics or guns on board.

I come here and browse sometimes, but rarely post. The reason is that I often don't know where to ask questions or where would be the best place to get answers efficiently.

There are about 50 forums on the board and many have posts that could easily fit in two or three other categories, maybe more. There is a forum about "sailing" but there aren't that many posts about the art or technique of sailing. The posts in it could easily fit elsewhere.

There's lots good about this board. I know I'm not an old-timer here and perhaps don't know why there are so many forums. But I would chop the 50 forums down to 10-20. My 2 cents, which is about 2 more than it's worth.

Don't sell yourself short JB, pretty much what I was trying to say in an earlier post but more succinctly put. Maybe you have less caffeine in your system than me.

Positively, socially deviant.
