Is the most users ever online accurate?

To me it seems that it is always close to todays date and while I realise that in principal, the forum is always growing, this figure seems to be not quite right.
Any Input or thoughts?

This forum is vBulletin software; I've never worked with it so not exactly sure how vBulletin does the calculating and if there are any settings for the admins (when to reset, for instance).

But, in general, this is nothing more then a fun forum feature.
Meaning, it's not something you use to track visitors numbers - tools like Google Analytics (which CF uses) for instance are much better suited for tracking actual visitors numbers.

If you want to know more about daily visitors etc., you'd need access to whatever tracking the hosting offers and/or CF's Google Analytics account. Which you are very unlikely to get
