Is Small Vidieo possable on Cruisers Fourm

im wondering if small vidieo clips will appear on this board, now that ipods & compression is a reaility?

Consider using DivX from http://www.divx.com/divx. There are tons of devices that can play DivX (http://www.divx.com/products/products.php). It is easy to get DivX videos to playback in a web browser. Also it is pretty easy to compress video from cameras, and I see they have cameras that directly record in DivX now too.

Real question is even with this compression will people be able to have enough bandwidth while cruising to put up videos? Nice pictures are 50-150k (~1024x768 pixels), while nice meaningful length (~30-45 seconds) high quality videos (640x480 pixels @ 30 frames per second), even with state of the art compression, are more like 5000k+.

I have enabled videos for the photo gallery. If someone wants to help test it out that would be great. I might have to make some changes to the server so really large files can be loaded.

I just put a small GIF in there. Works fine.

You should be able to post .wma (Window Media Files), .rma (Real Player) and also MPEG videos...
