While deleting cache and removing all cookies, or at least cookies that you don't want, go into Safari settings and turn off pop-ups and third party cookies. If it still doesn't go away dump it on your IT guy: if he won't let you install javascript blockers and other security extensions it is partially his fault. He should be installing a common collection of extensions to the corporate computers to block rogue JS and other nonsense.

Never had that issue with Lowrance. Nothing in their terms about owning my soul. Not even sure I have a soul to want.
