How to Download an Entire Thread

There is a thread going on at the moment that I would really like to try and summarise in a single document to simplify the reading for other members. Is there any way that I can store the complete thread locally on my laptop to avoid the tedious task of going through all pages and copy/paste etc?

Thanks for any tips.

Re: How to Download an Entire Thread

- go to "thread tools" at the top of the thread
- go to "print view / print thread"
- pick "show 40 per page"
- print as a pdf, or copy/paste

if you do the pdf, you'll need to make one for each 40 replies

best i can do

Rebel has a great solution. You can also use a Browser plugin such as DownLoadThemAll or Scrapbook to crawl through an entire website or section for viewing later. Scrapbook for Firefox even preserves the images and has searching.

I haven't found exactly what I think you want, but I did find someone who says they have something to DL the entire thread into a PDF.

If you have software to allow you to edit PDFs, then it may work for you

Free software - save your favourite forum posts

I have not used it. Try it at your own risk.
