FWIW the red highlighted text does not relate to any search terms I have done in the past.

It's sort of like reading a book where a small child has crayoned around the odd word - not the end of the world, just makes the reading experiance less enjoyable.
ok, ok, meters and teasing aside there is a *Contact Us* down at the bottom of the page. That sends a report directly to an admin desk, and they will be able to at least direct it to someone who can help. This is one I have no clue on!

Re: Highlighted Text ?

I had a similar issue but have just resolved it today.

In my case the word was underlined with dots rather than highlighted red. I use Firefox so this may account for the difference.

The clue:
When I mouse over the word (mast in this case), a small box appears offering to look up other articles on “mast”. Clicking brings up a string of search results. So it appears to be a keyword with the link generated by the site or administrator.

So I went to the search page, and found a menu choice for “Tag search”. Selecting this shows me a page called “Tag cloud” with a listing of 70 words and the heading “These are the 70 most used thread tags”. I checked a few posts, and in each case when any one of those 70 words appears it is highlighted in the article text.

To resolve:
Go to Quick Links, Edit Options and scroll down to “Auto link popular tags”. Select Off.
