Ya. I'm not selling the well known boat anymore. Thanks tho.
I decided to keep it and sell the conventional boat.

Re: Extremely well known boat I want to list
Hello Chotu. If you want to advertise that boat without a picture of it just post a picture with a drawing, a lines drawing, a drawing of the boat, anything like that or even a photo taken at a distance. That should satisfy forum rules. In my experience though this forum is not a good way to try to sell a boat. You will be subject to a lot of heckling and few serious boat buyers are searching this forum for boats. Sailboatlistings . com is free and I finally just sold my boat through them. Also there are a lot of facebook groups where you can advertise a boat. You have piqued all of our curiosity about the extremely well known part. I will hazard a guess in that it is probably a boat involved in a youtube channel or something like that. But you have also hinted that it is non-conventional and extremely well known so now my guess will be that it was used in a movie. Maybe captain ron, or johnny depp, or waterworld.

Re: Extremely well known boat I want to list
Extremely well known because it sank conspicuously or was involved in a very public collision or accident ?

Ok, that's the best response of the entire thread. Although I would assert that this is not Schrodinger's but Heidegger's boat, the "Uncertainty". You can know details of the boat, or you can know it is for sale. You can't know both at the same time.

Re: Extremely well known boat I want to list
This HAS been an entertaining thread, but I have a serious question for Chotu and that is why you don't want people to see pix of the boat in question? I'm assuming that Chotu isn't the full name your mother gave you at birth so nobody can contact you personally, and any questions or responses you get from what seem like non-serious buyers can be easily deleted. The only way to sell anything is to make prospective buyers aware that it's available for sale and it's very difficult to do that without letting lots of non-prospective buyers in on the secret as well.
So, Im just curious, why do you not want folks to know what boats you own and/or have for sale since your real name is not associated with it in any way on this site?

If it’s Leif Ericsson’s boat not a copy I’ll take it.

Re: Extremely well known boat I want to list
Probably the Pardey's old boat. Resale value on a wood boat, even one as nice as Larry built, leaves much to be desired.
