email deliveries going to wrong address

When I first joined this forum, I used a yahoo address. A couple of years ago I switched to gmail, I went into my personal info on the forum and updated my email account. I just checked it, and it shows my email address as my gmail address. However, messages are still getting posted to my yahoo address and none to my gmail account. Is there some other place I need to change? I have been looking through all the menus. Everything looks as it should, but my message emails are still going to the old address.

Well that sounds odd and don't know the answer. If you don't get an answer here scroll ALLLLL the way down to the bottom of this page you will see, carefully hidden, an option to "Contact Us". That will send a message to the people that run things and certainly get the answer.

Wow, well this response came to the correct email address! First time!!! Maybe the gremlins got the hint and fixed it!

The proper address only lasted for one day. Then they came back to the old yahoo address! I have sent a message to the webmaster as recommended, hopefully they can fix this.

Good luck. The mods are usually right on top of messages so bet you hear back soon. However, this is Sunday so they do charge double the usual fees.

Well, this is interesting. I get messages telling me there was a response to my post to my correct, current email. But I get my regular forum messages to the old address.

The e-mail address on your forum account reflects the gmail address. That said, it's possible that you signed up for the newsletter at some point using the old address. I can't change that for you BUT the simple solution would be to click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of those messages that comes into your yahoo box.
