Editing or Deleting Posts

I created a classified ad and would now like to edit it. There is no edit button. How do I get it turned on? Would this button also allow me to delete my ad?

I'm sending you a PM, Thistle.

Send a message via Skype™ to Seabemol
Hello TaoJones,
Same question here... There's something in a post of mine I'd like to edit (delete a phone number...)
How can I do that?
Tx

After about 30 miutes of posting, members are unable to edit their post, and must request that a Moderator or Admin' intercede on their behalf.
The management team is normally happy to oblige such requests.

So here's my feeble experiment. I've made attempts to edit after posting, This is usually due to some stupid spelling, but I haven't found how to edit on this site. Let's see if I can remove what I place within these parentheses,-( ).
If there's nothing there my experiment worked. If there are still letters there; then, instruct me please! 'take care and joy, Aythya crew

Now that was feeble! The edit icon is obvious! I guess I was always too slow to notice my mistakes in the past. Maybe I'll learn to read what I write before moving on!

Indeed.
The Preview Post icon is an excellent chance to proof one's work.
The Post, then Read, then Edit habit is a good second chance.

PS: If I cannot be bothered to make some effort to ensure that my posts are comprehensible & accurate, why should someone else be bothered to read them?
