Editing direction

Hi - I posted an item for sale in the general classifieds back in february, but now I'd like to edit it to reflect a lower price.

For the life of me I cannot find any way to edit that post in order to generate some movement. I've looked for the 'edit' link described in the FAQ's and other places, but to no avail.

Please help.

Thnx

Re: Editing direction

Just add another post in the same thread with the new price, or, let one of the mods know the new price and we can amend the original post.

Re: Editing direction

While we can edit the post for you, in my opinion it's better to add another post, that way of course people see its a reduced price and your new post "bumps" your for sale ad to the top of the list. We don't allow bumping just to bump, but of course changes in price, additional info, pictures and the like etc are allowed

Re: Editing direction

I just submitted an edited version of the original posting. Changed wording and dramatically lowered asking price. For some reason, when I tried to attach better pix there was a glitch and when the post copy came back the "paperclip" icon was missing and it seems (to me anyway) that my posting as of this morning refers to pictures that aren't there. How to fix, or get into re-edit mode so I can attach photos without bothering you guys anymore.

I'm sorry to be so problematic.
Thanks

Re: Editing direction

Click the red triangle at the lower left of the post you what edited and say that you need to edit the post and that will tell the mods which post you need to edit. We can turn on editing for you for a duration.

Also below the thread edit window is an additional options list. Click on manage attachments to upload photo's to your listing.
