Display Error ?

Seamanship & Boat Handling says it has Threads: 535, Posts: 11,041 - but when I open it there is no display to get off the current page. I am using Vista Home Basic with a relatively current version of Mozilla Firefox. On most forums there is a display that has a display of page numbers - first, 1, 2, 3, 11,...last - missing from this display. Is it just me? The other forums seem to work fine.

Are you still having trouble with this? I see 22 pages of posts (at 40 per)

When I open it I see that it displays 1-15 of 15.

Ah, I didn't look carefully enough, I selected display threads from the beginning and now I get them all.

Yes, I just checked again - but what you see (22 pages) is what I expected. The front page of this particular forum has the 'New Thread' button on the left and to the right of that where the 'Pages' selector is just shows blank. I tried changing the display length from a month to 45 days but the 'Pages' selector is still blank. On my slow connection I am reluctant to try and display longer time periods or 'all'. I don't have a 'Page' selector in this Forum either but in most others I have visited it is there. It is perplexing.

If you are on a terribly slow connection you may have issue with parts of pages timing out before your browser can download them.

I will pass this off to our tech support people just in case though.

My workaround is to go to the bottom of the topics and select 'beginning' and then display threads. I then see the 22 pages of posts that others see - but I have to do this each time.
