Re: Can We Get a New Forum Category?

Hey... Go for it.

I've got this "ignore" button option with Cf so a fishing/sports category will be no problem for my bandwidth usage.

But there IS this that seems to cover boating sports activeties:
Recreation, Entertainment & Fun - Cruisers & Sailing Forums

Then there's this Cruisers Forum titled - wait for it - Fishing

Check out the links. Thar be hidden gold out thar, matey!

Just my two farthings worth......

Re: Can We Get a New Forum Category?

I use searches myself occasionally! I doubt that most visitors realize they can perform a search or will be able to get useful information out of looking for tags, though. Such methods have a couple of fundamental flaws to them. 1 - You'll only find old stuff there and 2 - It doesn't help you pick the best place to post your question, topic, etc. Great for casually reading past conversations about loosely related topics though!

Just think, we could kill two birds with one stone by having this new category. No more searches for old, obscure threads and no more having to post specific questions about very particular topics in an entirely general forum where someone might one day be able to help you, (but not today).

I know that if I could post in such a category, I would feel much more confident about getting an answer because only people who are interested in those topics would be browsing it. That's the whole point!

Re: Can We Get a New Forum Category?

Anyone have any other ideas for what subs they would like to see under a Bluewater Sports and Fishing category?
