Boat Type Missing

I just noticed - the type of boat owner by posters isn't displayed any more.

I found that useful, especially when someone posts something like "on my boat, I find this works......" Often only really makes sense if you know that they are talking about a ketch, or a heavy displacement, or a light smaller boat

Added to the punch list . . . thanks for pointing it out. We have a list of known issues, as well as non-critical but annoying items (such as this) that are being addressed. The hope is to make the site faster to load, but at the same time not paring away all of the bits of information that many find useful. This is one such example.

Rather than tweaking and fiddling as individual items like this are pointed out, we're discussing overall site usability and dealing with the punch list as a whole. Often, what is critical for one member is not even noticed by another, but ultimately, the new look and functionality of the site will emerge - we ask that members be patient at this stage of the process.

Its a Beta release, now I get it.

Not sure, but could this not all have been ironed out with a proper beta release, before launching?

Ooops, sorry, my boat hat fell off and my Tech consulting hat went on...

Never mind...

I will go stand quietly in the corner now.
