Allowing the OP to Close a Thread

This would be a great feature to have, just in the classifieds forum. Some of the other forums I'm on allow this. Saves you from additional posts after an item has sold.

A simple PM to any moderator letting us know that an item is no longer available is all that is necessary to have a Classified Ad removed.

Oops! Well you can delete all my classified ads. I did at least reply to them all with sold, though.

I've moved all of your ads to the Classifieds Archive.

The purpose of the Classifieds Archive is to house Class Ads that are no longer active. Grunzster had either posted SOLD on his ads or indicated that he was only going to try selling his stuff on eBay - in other words, they could all be archived. Even though he stated "...you can delete all my classified ads," that isn't his call to make. The ads had already been moved to the archive (where they should be) so that members can still read them. Deleting them is unnecessary and counter-productive.

I have undeleted all of grunzster's posts in the Classifieds Archive. Please leave them as they now are.
