This unit was used as the vessel monitoring display and showed Volvo engine data, tank levels, alarms, and other system information. It was removed because the boat was being completely upgraded, not because of a failure.
Features and connections include:
• ETA RP4000 VT touchscreen display
• 12 VDC power input
• CAN bus interface
• RS-232 interface
• Ethernet (RJ-45)
• Dual USB ports
• Original mounting hardware/clamps included
• Original SD card included
The original SD card is still installed and contains the embedded Linux operating system and configuration data from the boat. I have also created a backup image of the card for preservation purposes.
Display was manufactured in March 2013 and removed from service during a 2024 repower. It has been stored indoors since removal.
I cannot fully test the unit today because the original Volvo EVC network is no longer installed, so it is being sold as-is. However, it was functional in the vessel prior to removal.
This is obviously a specialized item, but it may be valuable to an owner, repair facility, or electronics technician maintaining an older Fountaine Pajot, Volvo EVC installation, or ETA-based monitoring system.

This is the basic kit with one battery and charger with the addition of an optional full face mask (never used) and a dive belt with dive weights. My total investment in the kit is just under $1,900, selling for $1,300 plus shipping anywhere in ConUS.

I bought this kit two years ago with the intent for primarily doing my own bottom cleanings but given the murkiness of my home waters (Lake Pontchartrain), I discovered I get too anxious and claustrophobic. I’ve only used it twice and it has been in closet storage since.
