So this is the second time we were denied bringing our pets into St. Vincent. They are the hardest caribbean island to work with and are rude ontop of everything else.

The first time, it took the vet longer than 7 days to get the paper work completed on their end. Even though our paper work was in order. At that point, they came to inspect the dogs and said your heart worm test is expired (1 day over). Now we were in country for 3 days and they don't carry heart worm tests in St. Vincent as there are no heart worms there. Even though our dogs had the 1 year preventative shot, that did not matter and we were told if our dogs come to land, they would shoot them.

So, three years later we tried again. Yes, we like to be toutured. We did everything by the book. Again we were denied. Appearantly we recieved the wrong titer test this year. Our vet made a mistake. Eventhough we have one every year and its the right one and the dogs have a rabbies shot every year, it does not matter and once again, we are denied.

The funny thing is St. Vincent is no better off the any other caribbean island when it comes to rabbies. No dogs in a caribbean have had rabbies since 1980 so it is not like they are saving the world with all the extra preventive. The french islands only care that your shots are all up to date. Most english islands just look for a clear bill of health with 30 days of coming into the country and all shots are up to date.

So why is St. Vincent so hard to deal with? If you have a pet, don't come here. They litterally look for ways to denie your entrance.

WARNING: Dominican Republic Immigration Control

Dominican Republic has changed its approach to immigration control since early 2026. They are now testing AI for decision-making in immigration cases...

Dominican Republic has changed its approach to immigration control since early 2026. They are now testing AI for decision-making in immigration cases involving foreigners.
https://migracion.gob.do/dgm-apuesta...sus-servicios/

I was arrested. There were numerous violations during the detention by Dominican authorities. The AI decided — the obedient Dominicans complied. I was not allowed to request a lawyer. Legal documents did not change the AI's decision. No explanation of the reasons for detention was given. I was not allowed to review my case. I called the police — a local officer came and didn't even file a report.
I spent 3 days in a Dominican prison. I was forced to buy a plane ticket and leave the country. An entry ban was placed against me. Now my boat is in the Dominican Republic and I cannot get there due to the ban.

The well-known immigration tolerance that existed before 2026 no longer applies.
People make no decisions. Your charm is invisible to the AI.
A few doubts and you are in jail.
I still don't understand why I was not allowed to leave the country by boat and was forced to fly out instead.

Recommendations:

Pay close attention to the integrity of your identity documents
Pay close attention to visa requirements
Pay close attention to the duration of your stay as a tourist
Obtaining a navigation permit does not eliminate the need to legalize all crew members
Verbal consultations, even if you called DGM directly, are not valid and carry no weight
Even written responses from DGM are not recognized by DGM itself

Now if the rest of the AC is going to be "won" like that then this is the end of me watching this event.

How do you make sure the pre-established "favourites" pass on to the final race ? Well, you DSQ the best team.

Easy peasy. But what does it have to do with sport ?

I think the AC umpires are very well paid. But this is dirty money.

Forza Italia B Team! They were the best sailing team on the water.

Shame on the umpires !
