I’m flexible regarding the departure port anywhere in New Zealand.

I’ve been traveling around the world for the past 9 months.
I hitchhiked across part of Europe before continuing through Southeast Asia: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
This journey taught me how to adapt easily, live simply and get along well with many different kinds of people and environments.

About my sailing experience:

Several coastal sailing trips
Lived one year aboard a sailboat in New Caledonia
Experience with maneuvers and daily life onboard

I haven’t done a major ocean crossing yet, but I’m highly motivated to learn and become a useful crew member.
I can stand watch with clear instructions and I’m serious, calm and reliable onboard.

Other useful skills:

Good cook onboard
Trained carpenter
Comfortable helping with repairs, maintenance and general boat work

We are an experienced offshore sailing family — myself, my wife Tara, and our two kids (10 and 12) — looking for a caretaking or delivery arrangement for the September 2026 through February 2027 window.

We built and owned a 2023 Antares Catamaran 44 from late 2022 through early 2025, completing a full offshore passage from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Merritt Island, North Carolina — roughly 330 days aboard across two years, including the Uruguay and Brazilian coasts, Grenada, 14 Caribbean islands, and the US Eastern Seaboard. Tara sailed every mile of it with me.

Our kids are seasoned crew, and the reason we run a conservative, disciplined boat — thorough weather routing, no heroics. Owners who’ve had families aboard know what that means: people who genuinely care about the boat and never take chances with it.

We are geographically open — Caribbean, Pacific Mexico, New Zealand, South Pacific, wherever the right boat is.
