I have an 80 lbs, Viking, 6-person life raft, packed in a hard canister, that I need to ship from Chicago to Viking in Miami. What is the best way to ship one of these? I think UPS will take it, but I would likely need to pack it in something, what?

Anticoagulants cause problems with clotting (duh). Any of you out sailing while taking an anticoagulant? Run into an issues? Maybe it is not an issue at all?
