Anyone know a surveyor in Tortola, BVI?

I'm looking to get a survey done in Tortola, BVI, and would love to give business to members of the forum or their family/friends.

Or, at the very least, can anyone recommend a surveyor they've worked with down there?

Did you just sell your boat? Pretty sure I saw it getting a survey done a few weeks back.

I have recently used William "Bill Bailey of Caribbean Marine Surveyors at Nanny Cay.
He did a fantastic job of finding all the little things that need to be done.
He went up the mast and checked all the suages and found multiple cracks.
He checked everything . I can't recommend him enough.

i have used both Geoff and Bill. they both do a fine job. Bill might be just a tad more thorough.

either will do just fine and you can insist on both doing certain things you may want checked extra carefully

What should I ask to be checked in more detail? After all, we're all human and sometimes we may cut corners or not spend the time required on certain things if we're not being watched by someone who knows what's going on.

How much should I be looking to spend for a 43-foot monohull?

I've been using Capt. Victor Hartlen art 284-496-6066. He's a long time sailor, surveyor and is reasonable and competent.
